Our Team
Servant Leader in partnership with Active Citizenship: Executive Outcomes started this project in 2013. Daniel created the vision and concept. Shooting started in 2015, and it was largely paid for by Daniel. The interviews continued until 2019. It was Daniel's plan to launch the project on the 1st January 2021 however his untimely death delayed his dream. However, our passionate team has dedicated their time to keep his dream alive.

""When I heard Daniel speak about the "ironical concept" of servant leadership, I thought he was in some way removed from the realities of the African continent, where political leaders seek to wield and accumulate immeasurable power and wealth, leaders whose goals come nothing close to being perceived as servants. I see now that what Daniel meant, was that to be a leader, serving the multitude must be the driver. Daniel was not clueless after all, because he didn't just preach it, he lived it. Championing #danielstories will ensure that the concept of servant leadership, travels from the lips and social media feeds of many, to the leadership fabric of Africa."
